Award Recipients

Mr Tor Fridell, MSc. in Computer Science, Development Leader Campus Card System, Head of Student Information Systems, Linkoping University. Tor led the campus card project at Linkoping university (LiU) from the start in 2002 and has led the team since then.  Focus has shifted from daily operations to future development in recent years. Tor is also Head of Student Information Systems (SIS) of LiU and involved in the national development of the common Swedish SIS; Ladok. Tor is one of the founders of ECCA in 2002 and hosted the ECCA annual conference at LiU in 2006.  He served as Board Member and two terms as President of the Executive Board of ECCA.

Tor Fridell is the first and very deserving winner of the Distinguished Service Award for 2018.
